Japan Tour Day 2
Japan Day 2
Started the day bright and early and off we went to the Shinkansen (Bullet train).
This baby reaches up to 275km p/h. Kinda impressive.
It's really expensive to ride it though.
What would take days to travel in car takes only hours with the the Shinkansen. :)
But to me it was still just a train, didn't perk me up or anything. The conductor sticks his head out for no apparent reason when he arrived at our station. Remember those gerbil that pop up from the hole in the arcade and you hit it with a toy hammer?
Well I wanted to do it. :D
Then we went to visit temple in Kyoto, but we decided to shop instead.
Recycle !!! Jap ppl are really clean, notice they have high accuracy in aiming.
No rubbish on the floor near the bins.
In Malaysia you find rubbish everywhere around the bin instead of in it.
A Cake shop in the Train station!
Kyoto! Tell me this make Secret Recipe look bad.
These may look plastic to you but the real thing is exactly the same!
I have problem identifying some of these fruits
Cool eh? Cutting the cake would be a hassle though.
Belle was so proud!!! See her beaming from ear to ear.
Belle Jane must be too after reading this!
More cake! Those look like straws
Rasberries! Yummm
Ok this is weird i admit.
Imagine having a bite and having stems poking you
Jap Chick... This one didn't check me out. Thank goodness
Shopping area we went to.
We lingered around the area instead of walking up the temple.
See school kids everywhere!!!
I mean it's part of class studies. They visit the coolest places.
Themeparks, stay at hotels, visit mountains.. you name it.
All paid for by Goverment too!
Back here we get Zoo Negara. :(
It's some snack.
Closest I could think is our Apam Balik with toppings. Haha
400 Yen is Rm 12. Imagine that! And it's suppose to be cheap!
This was really nice. Mochi! Very tasty but only last 5 days
Jap chick! Haha no english again :(
Black Tea Ice Cream dunno la.. But kinda nice.
Did she or didn't she push the ice cream in my face? Guess :)
The rumored ultra short skirt school gals aren't all true.
Only some wants to make a fashion statement.
Wide screen vending machine.
Cream puff!!! Haha
Kimono Show. Kimono are really expensive.
Some is equivalent to a car!
Ancient wedding Kimono
Hime sama (Princess) Hehe looks like la
Parking is a killer. I think it says 20 min for 200 Yen.
Our hotel rooms. 4-5 stars so its kinda good dy!
We went to a Sega centre near or hotel to play games.
I mean in Msia we see these win a doll machines and are almost impossible.
But in Jap they have video tutorials in the place to show you how to win!
How cool is that? The tutorials are amazing. Makes me look stupid
So here is attempt 1
Nope no luck. Shant give up
Nope either. Closer though
This means WAR!
Yes!!! Wohoooo
Won two. So it's not impossible but really takes skills.
Will look for the videos in Youtube see can show you or not.
Blow your mind man.

Japan Tour Day 1
Japan Day 1
Went to Japan for 7days. Had tons of fun there. Exposed to the culture and finally I get to go where Naruto and Bleach spawned from. Haha (Btw it's an anime)
So our day started early cause we flew in around midnight.
Planes don't feel safe as they use to.
I hate turbulence, I mean sure it feels like a roller coaster but what's the worse that can happen on a roller coaster rite? Puke, headaches, lost of appetite after it. But not on the plane, you can't puke cause there are always toilet trolls hogging the toilet entry. You can't have headaches cause it's so high up (Ok I am making this up) and you can't lose anymore appetite with plane food.
So you pray for dear life that the pilot driving the plane is still the same pilot driving it when you started the journey. Haha but seriously at 30 thousand feet the oxygen to my brain is thin and I panic at times. But what the heck atleast I get to watch Jumper before the worst! So anyway we touch down at kanasai.... I mean Kansai. I hate the Custom checks because it takes forever. The weather in Japan was cool but tad dry (Not humid at all!). Lips started cracking. Departed to see a Castle in Osaka.
Kansai Airport
Thats the castle. Cool eh? Look really carefully and you will see a ninja
In Japan their students go for field trips and get to visit castles, theme parks, etc.
So we saw a bunch of young ones and they were friendly. Ohio! Haha so cute.
In Malaysia our students go to cyber cafes for field trips. So we too have it here
This is a unique sign. If you let you imagination run wild, you will see
Crying face, Smiley face, Dead sideways face, Smiley, Smiley and Smiley face with leftover grains of rice. Talk about being creative with language
We were then off to Universal Studios!
Belle bought these. Rather cute
Churitos, sugar coated tree twigs. Tasted like that to me :D
Cool designed buildings in Universal. Wanna know something cool?
Enlarge this pic and read the sign. You will laugh
Told you it was unique. Hehe. Nothing inside!
There is 1 vending machine to every 24 japanese in Japan
In malaysia we have 1 robber to every 24 malaysian.
Ranging from 120 to 150 Yen (100 Yen around Rm 3.10)
Don't be tricked Elmo smacked me really hard on da head
After Universal we headed of to Shin Sai Bashi. One of the longest shopping place.
It's like Rundall Street in Adelaide cept that it stretches 7km long!!!
About 1/10 million passersby a day on holiday, Osaka
The girl on the left was checking me out. Seriously!!!
Belle laughed and didn't believe me! Sigh... Do you?
Ah Lian... I mean hip happening clothings
In case of collision, you got someone to cushion your fall :D
StarBucks!!! The only English sign whole day besides Universal
Ok fine! Second english banner. English is like alien to them
Chick with LV bag
I am no marine biologist but this crab is HUGE! And 18000 Yen?
Chick in blue with pet... erm I mean fren
Night shots in Osaka!
Love this chocolate! nice nice
